David Colon

David is the Lead Combat Firearms Instructor for DSI Ohio. He is trained as lead instructor for all four Modules in Tier 4. Dave is the owner and CEO of a Northwestern Ohio construction company, which specializes in both residential and commercial construction. As with most of the instructors at DAI Ohio, Dave is trained in TCCC to help with any emergencies that may arise on the range, or in the civilian world. Dave has been an avid outdoorsman from the time that he was a child, and loves the discipline and respect for nature that it takes to survive. He brings that same discipline to the class room to help students build a solid firearms training base that can continue to be built upon for years to come

Chuck Gbur

Chuck He is an interventional cardiologist in Toledo, and has been an avid shooter since he was a child. He’s an NRA instructor and Range Safety Officer teaching NRA pistol classes and Ohio and Michigan concealed carry classes for the last five years. In addition to being a combat firearms instructor, Chuck teaches recreational and technical diving.

Carolyn Gbur

Carolyn is a practicing cardiologist and a wife and mother of five children.  Carolyn is an NRA instructor teaching people basic hand gun skills and CCW classes for many years. She became a combat firearms instructor in 2016 after recognizing the need to provide firearm training, which up until then had not been available in the Toledo area.

Alex Gbur

Alex is the first certified female combat firearms instructor in the Distributed Security network. From an early age her parents instilled in her the importance of integrity and leadership. Her father’s military experience ensured mandatory firearm knowledge and safety. This upbringing paved the way for her to pursue many leadership positions throughout her career.

Mark Hagan

Mark is an attorney and civilian instructor with Distributed Security of Ohio, DSI’s Ohio affiliate. Mark was raised in Vermont, and was an active participant in firearms and archery competitions from his early years, continuing to develop skills through years of hunting, and has maintained NRA membership for many years. Mark is the Managing Partner of a Northwest Ohio law firm, and serves as a prosecuting attorney in his locality, which involves advising local law enforcement in matters of prosecution and policy. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio and the Northern District Federal Courts, as well as the US Supreme Court, Mark stays informed about the legal, philosophical, political and sociological aspects of firearms laws on a national level.

Bob Bohmer

Bob is a licensed attorney and a civilian instructor with Distributed Security of Ohio, DSI’s Ohio affiliate. Licensed to practice law in all state courts in the State of Ohio, he is also licensed in the following US Federal Courts: the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.  Bob is a partner in a two location law firm and, in part, serves as a prosecuting attorney.
